Ian Kadish

Ian Kadish is an accomplished lacrosse player and coach with a distinguished career spanning collegiate and international levels. He played at Amherst College from 2014 to 2018, where he was recognized as a Scholar-All American plus awarded the prestigious Sphinx Club Award and Hitchcock Fellowship for his contributions to athletics and education. After graduating, Ian joined the Amherst coaching staff, leading the team to their first-ever National Championship appearance in 2019 after which he came to work for Israel Lacrosse.

Ian’s connection to Israel Lacrosse began in 2016 when he co-directed our program in Be’er Sheva, leading the inaugural team to a national championship. Since then, he has been a versatile member of Israel’s field and indoor men’s national teams, helping Team Israel achieve remarkable successes, including a silver medal in the 2016 European Championships and notable finishes in World Championships.

Since joining Israel Lacrosse, Ian has transformed the organization through his visionary leadership. He spearheaded the first board expansion in the organization’s history, set multiple fundraising records, and revamped the professional structure to advance ILA to new heights. His strategic initiatives and ability to unite a diverse team have driven significant growth and development, even during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and Israel-Hamas war. Ian’s efforts have expanded the reach and impact of Israel Lacrosse, solidifying its position as a leader in the global lacrosse community.

Ian’s love for Israel Lacrosse stems from the tight-knit community it fosters, providing him with a sense of belonging he never imagined possible. He continues to inspire and lead as our Executive Director, making significant contributions to the sport and the communities he serves.
