Building Connections

As a new sport to the region, neither side of the conflict comes with an advantage. We build mixed teams of Arabs and Jews to compete alongside each other, to overcome obstacles together, and build lasting friendships.

We are dedicated to providing access to lacrosse to the entire population of Israel. In the Bedouin town of Hura, in Israel’s periphery, the Israel Lacrosse Association has formed U-15 boys and girls teams and is training four local coaches. For the first time in 2019, the Hura teams will compete in an 18-game schedule in Israel’s youth leagues. For many of the Arab girls the league will be the first time they are leaving their city. Similarly, games in Hura will be the first time many of the Jewish players have visited an Arab city.
