Yale powers past Israel, 18-8

NEW HAVEN, CONNECTICUT — The Israel men’s national lacrosse team held an early 2-0 lead, but Yale scored 11 of the next 12 goals to take command of the game en route to an 18-8 win at Reese Stadium on Wednesday night.

Ari Sussman (one goal, two assists) led the blue-and-white, while Conrad Oberberg chipped in two. Kyle Bergman, Zachary Pall, Bryan Rotatori, Mitch Rothstein and Teddy Seem added singles for Team Israel.

Eric Schneider (30:00, 10 saves, 9 GA) and Ted Bergman (30:00, 5 saves, 9 GA) split time in goal; Schneider was dealt the loss.

Israel is back in action on Saturday night at Johns Hopkins University.
