Registration Open for World Lacrosse Festivals in Israel

NETANYA, ISRAEL — Registration for the 2018 FIL World Lacrosse Festivals in Israel are now open, with teams of all ages from around the world invited to compete alongside the 50 countries who are competing in the largest-ever FIL Men’s World Championships.

The primary festival venue is Shefayim Soccer Complex, which serves as the headquarters of the Israel national soccer team. Age divisions and dates of play are as follows:

U13 Boys: July 13-16, 2018
U15 Boys: July 13-16, 2018
U17 Boys: July 13-16, 2018
U19 Boys: July 13-16, 2018
Elite/Open Mens: July 13-16, 2018
40-and-Over: July 17-20, 2018
50-and-Over: July 17-20, 2018
60-and-Over: July 17-20, 2018
Elite/Open Womens: July 17-20, 2018

The team registration fee is $600 USD and includes priority hotel booking for teams and families at the Official World Championships Partner Accommodations, priority to exclusive touring packages, and discounts on World Championships tickets and apparel.

Each team is guaranteed at least six games over their four days of competition.

Through Dec. 1, 2017, Israel Lacrosse also is accepting applications for World Lacrosse Festival officials. In addition to room and board, all World Lacrosse Festival officials will receive one full event pass for the 2018 FIL World Championships.

The FIL World Championships are expected to draw a record 50 nations. Hundreds of boys’, men’s and women’s club teams will join them for the World Lacrosse Festivals.
