Zach Eagen

Zach Eagen grew up on the northern side of Atlanta, GA, where he discovered lacrosse at an early age. Whether playing, coaching, or officiating, he has been involved with the game for nearly 20 years.

Zach first discovered the Israel Lacrosse Association through the Heritage Cup as a player in 2022 and immediately followed that by volunteering as the event liaison for the Israeli Men’s and Women’s teams competing in Birmingham, AL, during the World Games in 2022.

After that experience, he was offered the opportunity to serve as the Assistant Director of Operations for the Men’s National Team that competed in the Men’s World Lacrosse Championship in San Diego, CA, in 2023.

Since then, Zach has grown into his role as Assistant Director of Men’s National Teams by managing and directing Israeli teams that have competed in several European and North American tournaments, including the role of General Manager for the Israeli Junior Men’s Team that won a bronze medal at the IIJL World Junior Indoor Championships in Saskatoon, SK, in 2023.

Zach loves his role at ILA because it allows him to continue to foster his love of lacrosse simultaneously with his Jewish identity and Israeli heritage.
