JT’s father was the former commissioner of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) from 2000 to 2009, and his family has been deeply involved in the sport for most of their lives. As a child, JT met Scott Neiss, a young executive for the NLL at the time, who worked closely with his father. After JT’s father passed away in 2014, Neiss offered JT an opportunity to work for the Israel Lacrosse Association (ILA), which he had founded.
JT first interned with Israel Lacrosse during the 2015 Men’s Indoor Lacrosse Championship in Syracuse, New York. A month later, he moved to Kiryat Gat, a southern Israeli city, to help grow the game. By presenting the sport at hundreds of schools across the country and coaching youth teams, he has significantly contributed to grassroots efforts to expand the Israel Lacrosse community.
He also served on the Organizing Committee for the 2018 Men’s World Lacrosse Championship as Sales & Customer Service Manager, and the 2019 Women’s European Lacrosse Championship as Event Manager, in addition to managing other international events such as the Heritage Cup and LAXNAI.
Known as a jack of all trades, JT has supported Israel Lacrosse in almost every capacity. Climbing the organizational ladder, he discovered his passion for marketing and technology. What he loves most about Israel Lacrosse is “exposing our incredible sport to people who have never seen it before.”
JT has made Israel his permanent home since moving there in 2015.
