I hope everyone is well as we make the last push towards summer! We have some amazing opportunities coming up and hopefully, we can get you and your family involved!
1. Birthright will be operating this summer! This means that we will be able to run our Lacrosse Birthright trip July 4-14, 2021 for Jewish players ages 18-26. This is a FREE 10 day trip throughout Israel playing, coaching, and exploring! There are only 20 spots on the bus so email David at David@lacrosse.co.il ASAP to reserve a seat today.
2. Spots for our summer session are filling up fast! All summer we will be playing, coaching, and touring. Especially as everyone is coming out of lockdowns, there has never been a better time to come to Israel! Dates are flexible so certainly don't let that be a reason not to reach out. 3. Our Gap Semester/Year program continues to run strong! Especially as everyone exits lockdowns, this is an incredible time to come live like a local. Our participants not only train, coach, and explore the country but also get to create their own unique experiences and relationships throughout Israel. You can read more about the experiences of two of our athletes, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Abby Stoller, by clicking on their names. This program is extremely customizable to your interests, academic schedule, desired work experience, etc so please reach out to me at Ian@Israellacrosse.org even if it's just to learn a little bit more!
4. Our Spring semester athletes have been enjoying Israel to the fullest extent. Just this past weekend they took a trip to more thoroughly explore the North. They hiked down Mount Gilboa, explored Nachal Hakibbutzim, swam in fresh water at Gan Hashlosha, took a jeep tour of Golan, and stayed overnight on the Sea of Galilee. Additionally, in honor of Yom Haatzmaut this past April our spring participants put together this list of 73 THINGS WE LOVE ABOUT ISRAEL that I hope you will all find powerful, I know I did!
5. We recently announced the recipients of the Mort and Judi Beroza award for Man and Woman of the year! Dr. Reuven Dressler and Iris Hahn have both made incredible contributions to the development of Israel Lacrosse and could not be more deserving of this award. I hope you will take the time to learn more about these amazing individuals HERE.
There has never been a more exciting opportunity to get involved with Israel Lacrosse! As the world begins to exit from such a complicated year we have been so blessed with Israel's handling of the pandemic and hope to welcome all of you soon!
