TEL AVIV, ISRAEL — Barak Netanya LC topped Ashkelon LC on Wednesday night at Wolfson Fields to wrap up their regular season with a win.
Chase Clark was named EL AL Player of the Game for his two goal, two assist performance.
Netanya (4-2) led 6-3 after the first half, and never trailed. Matthew Greenberg, Jesse Parker and Aaron Feinberg each added two goals, while Andrew Copeland made six saves in the win.
Mitch Goldberg led Ashkelon (2-4) with three goals.
With the IPLL Playoffs on the horizon, Wednesday’s game actually served as a preview for Monday’s semifinal. Netanya hosts Ashkelon on Monday night at Shapira Field, with the winner earning a berth in the inaugural IPLL Championship Game.
