Masa Israel Journey, which offers young adults between the ages of 18 and 30 immersive, life-changing internship experiences in Israel, has officially recognized the Israel Lacrosse internship program as a member of the Masa family since 2015.
The recognition, along with the generous support of Masa and our matching donors, allows the organization to extend incremental value to young athletes who are pairing internships with their on-field experiences with Israel Lacrosse teams and leagues.
Masa Israel Journey is a joint project of the Government of Israel and the Jewish Agency for Israel that is made possible by the generous contributions of the Jewish Federations of North America and Keren Hayesod-UIA. Masa connects young adults to programs that meet their interests, offering grants and needs-based scholarships, providing expertise, and supporting them throughout the entire process.
Participants on the Israel Lacrosse internship program have the opportunity to contribute directly to the development of the sport in Israel by coaching young Israeli athletes from throughout the country. Our participants visit phys-ed classes, schools and sports camps to promote the sport, while practicing and competing at the Premier level and Israel’s National programs. Israel Lacrosse will also provide housing, cultural experiences, Hebrew classes and opportunities to travel.
