Andrew Segal’s passion for girls’ lacrosse began over 10 years ago with Vero Beach High School’s state championship team in Vero Beach, Florida. He worked behind the scenes for this 10-time state championship team, handling logistics for over a decade. In 2021, his love for lacrosse and the Land of Israel converged when he began contributing to the organization financially. Soon after, he applied his logistics expertise to serve the women’s program.
Segal officially joined the team as the Director of the Women’s National Teams in January 2024 and traveled with the team from Israel to Portugal and Hong Kong, where he served as the team manager at two championship-level tournaments. It has been a dream come true for Andy, who continues to expand his involvement by establishing a referee/officials program for the ILA, as he is also a certified Level 2 women’s official.
