Israel U-15 Girls Eager to compete in World Festival

Israel’s U-15 Girls Team will be competing at the FIL World Lacrosse Festival, held in conjunction with the FIL U-19 World Championships in Peterborough (Ontario), Canada, from August 4-11, 2019.

While Israel-based players — from Ashkelon up to Netanya — are being evaluated throughout the 2019 youth lacrosse season, US-based players can apply for consideration by contacting Alex Freedman at alex@lacrosse.co.il.

The World Lacrosse Festival will feature at least 10 teams, with delegations from Canada, England, Wales and USA already committed.  The team will hold a mandatory three-day training camp in Peterborough from August 4-6, before the Festival kicks off on August 7th.

All players must be considered eligible for Israeli citizenship per Israel’s Law of Return (ie: must have at least one Jewish parent or grandparent).  All US-based players who are selected to compete on the team will be required to conduct an equipment drive in support of the development of youth lacrosse in Israel, and are strongly encouraged to participate in a Lacrosse Service Trip to the Jewish State when they reach High School.
