The Israel Premier Lacrosse League (IPLL) schedule has been specifically designed to attract NCAA athletes — with eight games in four weeks — over the summer, during the collegiate offseason. Each of our team rosters, which are currently comprised of the best lacrosse players that live in Israel, will be bolstered over the summer by 8-10 talented players from the United States.
All current collegiate athletes and recent graduates (ages 18-23) who desire the opportunity to travel abroad to Israel while being able to train, compete, and coach the sport of lacrosse should consider joining the IPLL. Players of all nationalities and religious backgrounds are encouraged to participate.
Athletes from abroad will have the opportunity to fully engrain themselves into a major Israeli city and community, and the opportunity to do so with purpose. Through our summer internship program, athletes will be able to directly contribute to the development of the sport in Israel by coaching youth teams in their city. These enthusiastic young athletes worship NCAA players, and will carry the knowledge and passion for the game that they leave behind for years to come.
The Israel Lacrosse Association has several Lacrosse Embassies available — penthouse apartments and clubhouses in several coastal cities, intended to house visiting players, coaches and volunteers from abroad — and summer internship packages are reasonably priced, which includes housing, team busses, insurance, gym access, helmet/gloves, uniforms, apparel, league fees, insurance, coaches, post-game meals, etc.
Israel Lacrosse offers “flex dates” for our summer internship program. Participants are welcome to make a 4-12 week commitment in the June through August window, however, we strongly encourage participation from July 20-August 10, during which the seven-game IPLL schedule will take place.
